Cafè Vemork is situated at Vemork in the historical buildings of the Norwegian Industrial Worker Museum. It is a modern cafè which only use fresh raw material, make their own bread and serve traditional food.
The cafè is open daily in the summer season. The rest of the year it is possible to make reservation for groups.

Gvepseborg Café is located just a few hundred yards north of the upper station. The café has always been a much appreciated meeting place - not only for skiers and tourists - but also for the many lodge-owners in the area. The menu consists of different types of dinners, lunch, rolls, sandwiches, waffles and a variety of home-baked cakes.
Gvepseborg Cafe also offers limited accommodations. There is a small timber-lodge for rent, large enough for 4 adults, and in the lower floor of the main building, there are two small rooms, with space for 2 adults and 1 child available.

The Norwegian Tourist Association’s first tourist cabin from 1868, which has been restored to its original style. At Krokan you can sample Norwegian culinary specialities, including sour cream porridge, cured meats and crispbread. Krokan also offers juicy open-face hamburger sandwiches on homemade bread, with the house rémoulade. Moreover, house specialties include kling, a thickly-spread, folded bread that you can enjoy with coffee, and homemade sour cream waffles with Norwegian goat cheese.
The hosts at Krokan Turisthytte wish to enable everyone to enjoy the good food and consequently offer some alternative allergen-free dishes, including hamburgers without eggs or milk, cheesecake without eggs or gluten and gluten-free bread.

Selstali alpine pasture farm in Gausdal Valley at the foot of Gaustatoppen, is a genuine Norwegian alpine pasture farm. Here you can meet cows and calves, and watch the residents milking, churning butter and making cheese, sour cream and "prim", a kind of sweet, brown whey spread, in the traditional manner. You can buy the farm's products and a fishing permit so that you can try your luck at catching a trout in the tarns around the farm. Selstali welcomes visitors all summer.
